Anyone managed to do it?
I can access the browser version with my email and password, but the app wants other info.
I contacted the customer service, but I got an answer describing the apps function.....

Not sure what you mean, Graffen. Of course I don't have, or use, any other type of device, except my office computer. Since I am a subscriber, to the magazine, and the archives, I just click on the link at the top of the page, and I'm there.
Mike.
EDIT: I guess my post is irrevalant, because I don't use any device that needs an application.

Well, the customer service is utterly useless...
After corresponding with them, I first got an explanation how the MR archive works, but no info on what logon I needed.
Then, after sending a new mail which explained my problem again! I got an answer on how the ZINIO app works and such....
Have the customer service been outsourced to some country where they have a difficulty understanding basic english?
So I guess that they either don't know how the app works, or just don't care....
Update!!!!
The digital subscription will now NOT be eligible for access to the MR subscriber features!
If this change is true I will terminate my subscriptions to all Kalmbach publications!
I will not pay full price and not get access!
Would be great to see if someone at Model Railroader looked in to this.
Or is it too much to demand?
Bad customer service indeed!
Where did you get that idea, Graffen? Digital subscribers get the website benefits. Look for a yellow box on the Table of Contents page for an access code.
As for the MR Issue Archive app, you log in with the same e-mail address and password you use to log into our website. I just downloaded the app on my phone, and it works fine.

Thanks for answering. I have just relayed what your customer service told me.
And I have tried to log in to the app several times with the same login that I use here to no avail!
Before you changed the website I could see on the username box what my last subscribed issue was, but that is gone.
So, you mean that I will have to use a new code after EVERY issue?!?
That is a step back, to say the least....
That's the same method we've always used. People who subscribe digitally through us get direct access. People who "subscribe" through services that bill monthly and don't share subscriber info with us, such as the iTunes bookshelf and Barnes & Noble Nook store, get a code with each issue. That's the way we've always done it.
Well, how does Zinio do it then?
And why can't I login to the archive app?
Good luck Graf, I can't get Zinio to let me see the June edition and I've had no trouble in the past.
