Good Evening! What a day! I am knackered! We spent 5 hours at the Miniatur Wunderland and my friends had me explain every little detail to them. I must have done a good job, as both enjoyed the visit. The amount of detail is just overwhelming and, although it is not a model railroad as we understand this term, it is just a fantastic experience. I am sure, though, that we have not seen all of those little well made scenes - there are just too much of them. Not much has changed since my last visit. Work has started on the Italy section and from what I have learned, it will be stunning. It´ll open to the public next year. Galaxy - we have a glass to stove and Petra is really happy with it. They are supposed to use actually less energy than the old fashioned steel rings, and are much easier to keep clean. Just make sure that all your pots and pans have a level bottom and that you really kkep the surface clean. Bear - thanks for the pictures! I see that the coastal rocks have some brown tone to them - I might experiment with that. I am still not fully decided on the loco, although I tend more and more towards the outside frame version. Tomorrow will be decision day. Will be calling it a day soon - CU all tomorrow!
