As mentioned before, stripping and cleaning the models, followed by drying in a warm place - I tend to use our airing cupboard or the central heating boiler as drying locations - just make sure you don't get the models too hot - melting is a seerious nuisance! <br /> <br />Water doesn't actually damage electrics, it's the shorts it causes that do the damage. A friend of mine put a Sony Playstation memory card through the washing machine once by mistake, after a thorough drying it was fine. As mentioned above, don't put any power through the locos until they are completely dried.
