I've moderated several car forums, and we would notice that when threads got over a certain amount of pages (it was a different number for different software, etc., but it would normally start at more than five), it would affect the performance of the entire forum. Closing or moving it didn't always clear things up, they had to be split or deleted altogether. <br /> <br />---jps
