what are some good ground colors i should use for my layout. heres a little about my layout. the railroad is bnsf and is located in the northwest( around 1995. its got a small town right next to a yard. also is next to a single track mainline. i use plaster cloth for scenery.

Select a shade of tan latex paint that is close to the dirt you'll be using for ground cover. It'll look okay if a little shows through from under the scenery.
