The navy Pier is holding it's annual "Winter Wonderfest" and this year LaSalle Bank is hosting a Spectacular FREE Holiday layouts within a huge 30' tall Victorian Train Station. This event is open between Dec 10 to Jan 2, For more information, visit www.navypier.com.

There are other events, rides and such to make this a truely great family event. Best part admission is free, but some events do require a fee.

Probably, but you can geta round that by parking at any garage a few blocks away for $10 and walk to the pier.

I usually take the El to downtown and catch that little shuttle that runs out to Navy Pier. My kids enjoy riding the "train." [:)]
