South Branch Valley: West Va. short line, former B&O branch, and route of the tourist train "Potomac Eagle" which claims frequent sightings of bona-fide eagles, just an easy day's drive from Washington DC for the patriotic among us. I model it, sorta: I model a fictional railroad which was located in the same area, highly inspired by the route. Also, the Winchester & Western runs just up to the WV/VA state line (and comprises another leg of my fictional railroad), with much simpler operations but excellent old Alcos and Geeps and tight curves.
