Good vehicles

does anyone here model the early 40's? I need some HO scale vehicles from 1934 to 1941, I've seen those made by stoney mountain but they don't look very good in photos. Any suggestions?

Jordan vehicle kits are nice and fairly easy to build...granted a lot of their kits are based on the 1920s, but due to the Great Depression ( and the fact that virtually no vehicles were produced during WWII), many vehicles of that age were kept running well into the war and would not look out of place on any layout depicting the 40s

I have built a number of 30s to 40s vehicles, mostly small trucks, offered by Alloy Forms and On Trak. These build into really fine pieces but require some patience and some basic skills with soft metal models. Wheel Works also offers these soft metal vehicles in the 1932 - 1934 range, again some pain will be involved before you get a finished product on your layout but these really do look great once they're done.

I love the Micro-Metals vehicles. Their hoods even open. Never know when you have to work on the engine! Jerry

Sheepscot scale makes some beautiful trucks which would be appropriate for your use.
Also, Greg's Garage as many vehicles which you can purchase finished or undec.
