Some questions about prototype & model F units
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, November 14, 2004 1:58 PM
1. Did F-units have 40" or 42" wheels? What NWSL wheelsets will fit Genesis F-untis?

2. When did railroads start putting wagonwheel and firecracker antennaes [sp?] on their F's?

Thanks.

The 40" wheel is standard on the F unit.

Wagon wheel antennas date back to at least the 1950s, if not the late 1940s.
