Good Morning Folks!

Wow, it is really quiet in here lately! Maybe we should send out a role call? Has anyone heard a word from DerJohn?

During my short stay in politics, I have learned many a lesson, the most important one being that politics brings out the evil in man, whereas model railroading brings out the good. So I´d rather be a model railroader than a politician [:-^]. On the other side, I have met some folks I can call friends now. On of them is really a nice guy. He is married to a girl from Wales. This week they will be off paying a visit to her family in Wales and they will stop by a hobby shop to get some Peco switches and track for me. That stuff is so much cheaper over there, despite a higher sales tax. I wonder how that works.

I have ordered some rattle cans of acrylic paint so I can finish the little critter I started to assemble last winter. It´ll be a light blue for the body and afire red for the chassis, so the lot will look like this:

Critters usually had a distinct worn look to them, so I will have to weather it heavily. Unfortunately, Rustall is not sold here in Germany...

Good to have my mind set on the really important things in life again!

Have a good Sunday!

Edit: Whew, not again TOPS - you guys really depleted my credit card account last time!
