Would you purchase home made locomotives without the mechanisms or with mechanisms for $70USD fo dummy or $120USD? The dummy models would include truck sideframes, body shell, detail parts and cab windows. The powered models would include the same as the dummy models but a mechanism, optional DCC decoder or Sound decoder and a certificate of purchase plus a gift voucher. What I really want to know is what locomotives you would want. Please feel free to ask questions about how to make them but I have my own way of making them which I will not tell but will tell a different way. Resin Australia is up for business.

Hmm...sounds like someone got his hands on some resin molds, either that or he's really artsy and uses wax molds.
Good luck.

There are several dozen IC modelers who are chomping at the bit for a Paducah rebuild GP10 (at least ONE version). These engines have been used by at LEAST 85 different roads (including BN and Conrail), yet no one makes on (but mention the CF-7, and it's been around for YEARS). Marketed properly, you could sell hundreds of these shells! (and they'd probably sell better than the 70MACS)

The GP10 sounds like a good idea. The MACs will be sold only as a limited run, after that I will be producing them for people who would like one. The next locomotive in the production run will be the EMD SD40T-3.
The different versions the MACs will be sold as are:
Alaska RR
BN
BNSF
CSX
CSX Flared
PNQ Flared w/ new cab
The SD40T-3s will be sold as:
DM&IR
B&LE
