BLI Blueline PRR F7 question
Posted by thoroughbred52 on Thursday, October 23, 2014 8:50 PM

Hey there,

quick question... if you search pictures of a blueline prr f7 or just an actual f7, you will notice on the front there are these rung things; (they look like two half-circles coming out of the lower nose with holes in them.)  It appears the one I bought is missing them. Would anyone know if there would be a detail kit that includes those or an easy way to build them? Thanks.

I think what you are looking for are the nose lift rings. Cal Scale and detail associates make them. Look here. Although out of stock you might find some on Ebay. https://www.walthers.com/exec/search?category=Part&scale=H&manu=&item=&keywords=nose+&words=restrict&instock=Q&split=30&Submit=Search Steve B

All PRR F and E units had them. Wrecking crews could slip a pipe in them to lift the front end when needed.
