Hi,
Just wondering if anyone might know which label brought in the better brass shay locos:
1. Precision Scale Company
2. PFM/United
3. Westside Models
4. NWSL
5.MB Austin
In particular, any appreciate if you can shed some light on the MB Austins.
Cheers!

PFM/UNITED Makes great quality Shays I've had two of my shay for almost 25 years and they run so well! Westside also makes some awesome stuff.
If Price is an issue for you as it is for me, United is probably your best bet. You can get a real nice Shay for about $300. The Most Expensive on there is Precision Scale you can buy them today for about $850. Sometimes you will get real lucky and get some cheaper.
Hope this helps! [:D]
