Good Morning! Is it a good morning? I don´t know yet. I am up for several hours now - just could not sleep. Late last evening I was called by the nursing home. My Mom had packed up and left the place. Fortunately, she did not get far and they could persuade her to return. As there is no legal means to "tie" her to the place, we will most likely face that quite often. It all burns down to an unresolved conflict between my parents on how and where the want to spend their last days on this planet before they meet their maker. Neither my brother, with whom I enjoy a rare case of agreement on this issue, nor I can provide any help in this, they have to settle that among themselves. I am just aghast, that this is a question at all - after 62 years of marriage! What´s the value of this marriage, when my Mom leaves my Dad at a time, when he needs her the most? Galaxy said "marriage is about working problems out TOGETHER,not divorcing at the drop of a hat" and right he is, but I am afraid that the two are unable to work this one out. What´s left for me is to step aside and watch them going down rapidly. Makes me utterly sad - and mad at the same time. No, I am not a happy camper. Have a good day!
