Good Morning from sunny Germany. It really feels like Spring this morning - no Barry, not your cat! It´s not warm enough, yet, but the weather guesser predict the temperatures to rise into the high 40´s during this week. Last night I had a very depressing telephone conversation with my parents. My Mom was having her "fits" again, refusing to move into the new location. She wants to return into their home, but there is no way how that could happen. I am the bad guy, who tricked them into going into that nursing home. My brother is the good guy, who keeps telling her, that she and Dad could very well stay at home and hire a help to take care of my Dad. Mr. Knows-it-all and all even better has not seen them for over two years, but is able to tell, what type of care they need. The aisle in their house is not wide enough to accommodate Dad´s wheelchair and my Mom´s so weak, that even the slightest chore causes her to cough and gasp for air. Both appeared to have given up on themselves, and I am afraid that they will not live much longer. It just makes me sad. And, of course, mad at my brother. I won´t be calling them today, just to get a day off. Have a good one!
