A quick stop here to see my friends. I am at home, but will be going back to my parents´ place tomorrow afternoon. The situation has not improved. My mother is demented to a degree, where she has lost any sense of reality. It is a shock for me to observe how quickly her dementia progresses. Monday will be a very challenging day. I am supposed to take her to the nursing home, which she sees as a prison. She still thinks that she will only visit my Dad, but does not want to stay with him - after 62 years of marriage. My Dad is devastated by this. His well being very much relies on my Mom being with him, but I am afraid it will affect just the opposite. Petra will be coming with me this time, as I need her support - not for my Mom and Dad, but for me. My nerves are shattered and I have lost over 20 lbs. in the last two weeks. The candle is burning low... Jerry - I am so sorry to her about Sallie´s additional health issues. [angel] for the two of you! Ken - while a "high" reading of 146 is acceptable, if that´s your lowest reading you should quickly change a few things - just like Ray said. We want you around for much longer, buddy! Blessings!
