Broadway Limited Might be missing a pardner!!!
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 25, 2004 5:13 PM

I would like to ask if anyone knows anything about what might be true or might be a rumor. I am not starting this, but wanted to know if anyone can shed some light on the possible exit of one of the lead people involved.

It could explain why I am waiting past the scheduled date for many of the items I have on reservation. Please, just facts if you know it for sure as they are doing the best they can.

I am asking for information only as I can not validate what I have been told.

Why don't you ask Broadway Limited? They have a Web site where you can post questions and get answers.

I am waiting on any answer that have facts, like the Stewart announcement, we got the answers farily quickly. I don't believe they are going to say anything to us officially, but some of the dealers might know.
They have answered many of my technical questions and I believe they will say something about this if it turns out to be true. I was counting on a dealer that might be reading to say something that I don't know.

I really want BLI to do well as I have purchased many of their engines and will continue as I enjoy their products.

What's the intrigue? People leave and join companies all the time without need for major announcements. Stewarts was sold lock, stock and barrel.

Bangert,

Do you have any more details of the rumor? By "lead people" are you referring to a manager, owner(s)?

The owner and previous owner of Oriental is the person that was said to be gone. I think we will hear something officially within a few days, but I have not been able to confirm the possible departure.

Sorry I do not know more as I was almost sure someone on line would know what was really going on.

Ok after reading this thread, I know less than I did before I started reading it.
Now what is going on or purportedly going on?

Thank you.

Apparently someone did something somewhere and might be leaving someplace for another place, leaving somebody by himself at BLI.

You think this has somthing to do with BLI prices dropping suddenly? I've noticed various train dealers lowering their prices on BLI and having BLI items on sale.
