Without wishing to unduly alarm you, the replacement of older IHC/Mehano or Rivarossi drivers is a daunting task, usually refused by experienced locomotive rebuiders as either not feasible at all, or too expensive to be considered. "Standard" North American driver-axle-gear combinations, like Bowser are great, but not for plastic European locomotives..the construction is substantially different. <br />If you deal at a local hobby shop, ask who does their locomotive repairs [if anyone], and perhaps you can speak with that person. <br />You might want try this question on a couple of other forums also, as there will be some disagreement with my post here. <br />Happy New Year / regards / Mike
