CSX derails Pere Marquette 1225 Steam Loco

That was due to roll into Grand Rapids Mi as part of the advertising blitz surrounding the opening of Polar Express.
The cost of extensive resources of track, assistance, moving the loco & five passenger cars, storage, CSX crew members and the inconvenience to the railroad's freight customers nixed the plan.

I heard about that! I'M SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in Grand Rapids! I must not have been the only one wanting to see it though, it was on the front page of the Grand Rapids Press today!
