Good Afternoon!

It is well past lunchtime here, so I´ll just have a mug of coffee and a sweet roll, Janie, please.

[bday] - James! 23? That makes you 33 years younger than me - well not really, there 4 days missing in the count. All the best wishes!

Barry - all forums are loaded with comments, rants and gripes about the new forum software. I have to admit that I don´t fancy it either, but I will be getting used to it after a little while. Performing my moderator´s task has also changed slightly. I find it less comfortable than before. Post count is a valuable information. A member with a fairly high count may be less likely to slip by the rules. AFAIK, they are still working on it, and a number of things will be back soon.

Ken - the most important issue when you stop smoking is that you really want it. The need for nicotine actually goes away pretty quickly (three days), but the bad habit stays on much longer. I am not sure, but IMHO, those electronic cigarettes just make that ordeal longer. Set yourself a target, save up the money you would have spent on cigarettes up to that date, and reward yourself with a goodie - maybe that loco you always wanted to have.. Pulling for you that you´ll make it!

It´s a hot and humid day again, so I am not up to much. I have to drink a lot, and that´s still an awkward and painful experience when I have to reverse the process.

Have a good one!
