Pictures in a strange place.
Posted by mbinsewi on Thursday, April 17, 2014 10:10 PM

OK, I just looked through the thread "Whats your favorite loco" , and when I went to page 3, along with the post on that page, a picture of an Amtrak electric loco shows up on the top of the page, covering up the top headers, and the topic selection bar.  Anybody else have this happen?

Sure glad it's a picture of a Tyco GG1 and not—um—something else... wink-wink.

How strange, though!

Huh!

I didn't notice that before. But then I don't claim to be the most observant person around.

Yep...Tyco's answer to the GG1.

Hmmmm...I see it too, on both IE and Firefox.

Will whoever is responsible please replace it with a picture of a more realistic model of a GG-1, or even a real GG-1?  Thank you.

Think it's Steemtrayn, since the text of his post says Tyco GG1. Someohow his post got outside of the CSS that defines where to put the picture within the post, so it just shows at the top left corner as it would on a simple web page with no formatting.

Very strange!  I have never seen that on the Forums before.

I always wondered if that Tyco casting could be modifed to make one of the Pennsy P or R class electrics that had lines not unlike the GG1.   There are some European mechanisms that are close enough for a kitbash.  But then I stopped being a Pennsy modeler and lost interest.

I was just kidding when I said it was my favorite, and yes, I posted the pic. I have no idea how it ended up there.
