Good Afternoon Gang,

it´s a rainy day today, so no outside "activity" at all. Still fighting with my mood - I may have one the first battle, but not the war yet.

A big and hearty welcome from the other side of the Big Pond, Rob II. Now that we have two of you, we have to introduce numbers [swg]

Out of shear desperation, I started to draw locos with my track planning tool:

TeenSteamFan should be able to recognize this one. It´s a Stroudly LB&SCR A1 "Terrier", built in the 1870´s. It earned its nickname for the mature "bark" it had. It hauled commuter trains south of London until WW I. Nearly all were taken over by the Southern Railway in 1923 after 50 years of service. The last to be withdrawn from regular service was the "Hayling Billy" locos, serving the Havant to Hayling line. This was in 1963 - after 90 years of service! Quite a large number were preserved and can be watched on regular outings at the Bluebell Railway and others.

Have a good one!
