Goood Morning America1

Today´s June 18th, 2012 - which happens to be Paul McCartney´s 70th (!) birthday!

Got up way too early this morning, continuing sleeping issues!

Zoe, strong coffee and a cinnamon roll, please.

Germany beat Denmark 2:1 in yesterday´s soccer match. From what Petra told me, it was a thrilling match. I was busy running the evening local down my line, so I missed it - dang!

Nothing really planned for the day. I may make a list of supplies I need to continue to work on my layout. There is room for another 3 modules on my shelf, two being the little passing station I have already layed the track, and, of course, the still missing temple module. The structures I´d need for that are out of stock in Japan, I am waiting for the restocking email (since beginning of this year). Not that I have the money to buy them, but it´ll be good to know they are available again. Most of the upcoming work will be adding more detail to the modules. I am also looking into super-detailing that little tank engine I have. Compared to the other steamers, it looks a little bland. I will install MicroTrains couplers, as I am unhappy with the looks of those Arnold big bulkies. Coupler release levers, grab irons, a snow plow and a smoke stack cap will have to follow,. This should certainly enhance the look of it quite a bit.

Chris - nice fire department, where do I have to go to to join?

Bang, clonk - ouch!

Have a good one!
