Good Morning Gang!

Well it´s actually lunchtime here in Germany. It his April? We are having a mix of sunshine, rain and hail storms, with temperatures stay below the 10 C mark. No time to be spent outside...

Ray - having solar panels installed is the craze of the day in Germany. The solar power business is booming, despite our government having cut back the subsidies. What a lot of folks don´t consider is, that the fire insurance premiums go up quite a lot, when you have those panels on the roof. Not that those panels add to the fire risk, but firefighters do not fight the fires, but let the building suffer a "controlled burn-down", always resulting in a complete loss. Some years ago, a firefighter got killed while battling a fire in a house with solar panels on the roof - he literally got electrocuted.

The increase in rates eat up whatever profit was there...

Have a good day!

Galaxy - where art thou, my friend?
