Are you sure you were drinking coffee? Looks like your missing post is back on p. 1.

The coffee shop was bought out by Starbucks.

Paul, and everyone, the forum has a really neat feature that I use all the time. The active topic button at the top of the page is a really handy tool. It allows you see all the topics that have had posts, with a choice of time frames. I usually keep mine set at 12 hours, because I'm here so much.

There is one slight drawback, and that is it will show ALL of the forums of Trains.com, not just the MR general, though that isn't necessiarily a bad thing. It only took me about 2000 posts to discover this feature. By sharing this "secret" with you, it may help you save many anxious moments when searching for that morning cup.[swg]

Give it a try and change the settings, the coffee shop almost never goes 12 hours without a post, but if the forum gets busy, it will fall to page 2, or even 3 when viewed in the traditional manner.

Well, um, you must be in the wrong line.
See, the left lane is for donuts only.
The right lane is coffee only.
but the middle lane.........
that's for us cops!!!!!!

Actually, it got bought out by a Sacramento Concern called Java City, which has Starbuck's beat all to Hell when it comes to good coffee. Oh, you mean the forum? If it's not here, just start clicking through the pages. It bounces around, you know. Like every forum here, you have to end up chasing it sometimes. but like every forum here, it's worth catching (okay, MOST every forum here! Sheesh!)

I just had an absolutely evil thought.[}:)] I could change the name of the coffee shop and hide it.[%-)] That's another trick of the forum, the poster of a topic can edit the title.[:0] Of course, as the founder of the MR Coffee Shop, I would never do such a thing. Our regular customers seem to be happy just the way things are.[^] I guess if Paul keeps getting lost, I could ask Bergie for a [STICKY] to keep it from bouncing around.[;)]

Paul,

You could always create a bookmark that will take you directly to that topic, no matter where it is.

If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
