A minority, yes, but you'd be surprised at the large number of modellers in Europe who model North American railroads... In October, I attended the biennial convention of ARiS, the American Railroadfans in Switzerland. We had modellers from nine Eurocountries there, filling up four school buildings in Adliswil with modular pikes. The total count of folks attending a two-day weekend convention was about 3,400... I had the honor of being the sole American guest speaker. What an experience..! Doug
