Good Afternoon Gang! It is past lunchtime here in Germany, so I´ll just go for some coffee, Janie! Today is a very special for us. Our son Christian successfully defended his master thesis and has been awarded the academic title of M.Sc.Eng. His post-graduate studies were completed with a straight A+ average - we are so proud of him! He will start in his new job on April 1st., and in summer, he will also start to work on his doctorate. The little one has finally grown to be an adult! I did some w*rk on the boat this morning - here is an update: <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040141.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040140.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1040138.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> Not really much left to do, just install the anchor, hoist the flag and fabricate and install the shrouds. My dictionary tells me that´s the contraption the sailors use climb to to the top of the masts. Janie - whatever those chowhounds want to have today - put it on my tab. We have reasons to celebrate!
