Good Morning!

A typical Spring day in northern Germany - overcast, with the odd spell of rain. Temperature is at 7°C and won´t go up much more. No business outside the house, so I don´t mind.

Spent an hour carefully sanding the hull with fine grit sandpaper, just to shape the typical "schooner-type" bow and get the hull as smooth as a baby´s butt. I had some primer left, so right now the hull is up in the attic with a nice coat of primer. More sanding to do after the primer has cured, and, following that, I´ll give my hand a try painting the hull.

Barry - the kit is made by the Italian firm Mamoli. Here is a link to their web page:

Mamoli

AFAIK, the Bluenose is their only N scale kit, most of the models are in a different scale.

If you are looking for N scale model ships, it might be worth looking at this page:

Artitec

Those are cast resin kits, which sport a lot of detail, but are a PITA to assemble and paint.

Not plans for the day, maybe just running a few trains down the line to keep the dust of the rails [(-D]

Have a good day!
