I have spend the better part of this afternoon, calling "friends" and asking them for a little help. Most of them felt "really sorry", but ... At last, one of them, a former colleague of mine from Vienna, is wiring some money to us, which should arrive by tomorrow. The amount he is sending us will take care of the month´s food. For him, it is a little thank you for all the gorgeous meals he had at our house, when the times were still good - at least that´s what he told me .Our landlord is also accepting a delayed payment of the rent, so the worst is over for us now. I feel much relieved now. It´ll be a meager month, but so have been many months in the past three years. I am sure that Petra will be able to make something out of nothing. I wish there´d be a day when we can all meet. I am overwhelmed by the amount of help I have been offered from you - I really don´t know what to say. [*^_^*]
