Lunchtime! It is all quiet outside, the shops are closed for the season. Christmas trees are being decorated, there is a smell of cinnamon and chocolate in the air. Here in Germany, Santa is coming on Christmas Eve, right after the sun has set. I remember how nervous and fidgety I got in my childhood days. Would there be a new loco under the tree? Not this time, Santa is passing us by this year - just like last year. For the first time since we are parents, we will be all by ourselves today. Christian will join us on the 26th, which is still a holiday here. We are looking forward to have the young ones with us. May there be peace on earth.
