Good Afternoon All! Coffee to go please. Finally made it home Thursday night/Friday very early AM. The storms in Detroit slowed everything down. Just happy to have made it home and not spend another night in Detroit. But my internal clock is all messed up. Except for the occasional swings through Detroit, I was on central time and not I can't get my head back on eastern time. Honest'y, it is easier to be three to four time zones off than to be a simple one hour behind. Anyway, I was right about the hotel in New Orleans. Nothing a wrecking ball couldn't fix. What is sad is how many businesses are gone. Maybe for the best, McDonald's is offerring $10.50 an hour plus 401K and medical.[:0] Nobody around to work. Also, got the news that a friend's 15 year old son died yesterday morning. I just can't imagine how that could feel. There are no words for something like that. Just trying to be available for him and his family to vent or whatever they need. Need to run. I think I will be able to actually sit and rest on Sunday. Wishing you all a good Memorial Day.
