Just heard on the local news that Barbaro's chances are slim. Three fractures and lots of soft tissue damage. Still in surgery!! (hour #3) If he wasn't the Derby winner I sure he would have been put down by now. <br /> <br />I guess I'm not the normal ex-Chicagoian, I'm a White Sox fan. Probably because Jack Brickhouse turned me off to the Cubs. On the other hand, Harry Carey and Jimmy Piersall made a losing team fun to watch.
