Hi gang,

It's been a long and boring day here at the office - I didn't get a whole lot done and that always depresses me. Oh well since Fergie's buying I'll go whole-hog: Filet mignon, baked potato w/sour creme, buttered asparagus tips, and strawberry cheescake for dessert. (Oh yeah, mustn't forget the wildcherry Pepsi...)

derJohn , I think you posted your progress pix immediately before I did my most recent submission - looks great, can't wait to see it all painted! Is that a case of Diovan I see at the bottom of the 2nd photo? I could sure use that, the monthly $25 co-pay cuts into my MRR budget...

Thanx alot everybody for the kind feedback on the photos, but I used mostly store-bought stuff so I think you guys can do it too!

T-Rob -
QUOTE: Originally posted by trolleyboy... Nice bash on the KFC as well screams a how to article to me [tup][swg]
Thanx, except I think the guy from Sweden (Pele Soelborg) has already covered that territory...

PC -
QUOTE: Originally posted by pcarrellThe stream looks great. I actually like that it's backwards! It looks real good. The KFC looks good too. How hard was that update to do? Looks like plastistruct came in handy!
Thanx Phillip, now if I could only figure out how to age backwards...[:D] For the KFC conversion I used scraps of Evergreen (much cheaper than Plastruct!) The most challenging part was cutting out 4 isosceles(sp?) triangles (the kind that are the same length on all 3 sides) and having them line up properly for the rooftop pyramid.

Jerry -
QUOTE: Originally posted by Cox 47
KenL....Any fish in the crick?? ...Like the tree but you need a couple of catfishers on the bank looks like there would be some big ones in there...
All in good time, my friend! [swg] There'll be time enough for fishin' when the work is done...

Don - good to see you here in the Shop again!
QUOTE: Originally posted by DigitalGriffin
Wet and 50 here in Maryland...
I thought you were up in PA, do you commute into MD every weekday?
QUOTE: How did you get the ripples in there?
I used Woodland Scenics Water Effects paste on top of their "Realistic Water" - spread the Water Effects paste on like peanut butter after the Realistic Water solidified. But first, I experimented on a scrap piece of clear styrene.

Ozzie-Jim - nice little cop-car graphic, I probably need to get one of those in 1:87 for my Seven-Eleven scene![;)]

Inch - always look forward to seeing your CSX r-o-w pix

Ryan - Phillip lives within walking distance of that museum, is that a primo neighborhood or what? BTW have you decided what you'll be doing with your new pike in the attic?

Attaboy - Your secret is safe with us Steve, we won't tell [:D]

. . .
Well it's time for me to join the aggressive masses on the overcrowded highways, C-ya later!
