Good evening shop dwellers, Chloe since Paul is buying I'll have your TexMex special of the day with a tall OJ...

RT - condolences on your Mom, I'll add her to my prayer list[angel]

John - those are cute Q-tip thingies in the photo, think I might invest in a few of those myself - got a supplier name and catalog item number for them?

Paul - 9 ore loads, only how many hundred to go?

Flip That's really scary about the fires, hope your place doesn't get damaged by any of them.

PC - I always enjoy viewing your museum pix

Well this was quite a productive weekend for me, considering I also had the assist in preparing my home for guests for Stephanie's First Communion reception.

On Friday evening, I spread on some WS Water Effects paste on the rear area of Bethel Creek - here's what it looked like at first:

In case you're wondering, the current in Bethel Creek flows from front-to-back, not the other way around as most modelers do it. The tree sort of acts like a 'dam' causing the water to appear placid near the front, and more turbulent in back where the water gushes thru. Here's what it looked like when dried:

An overhead view, so you can see the supposed effect of the fallen tree on the flow of the water:

On Saturday and today, I built a modern facade for the LifeLike KFC eatery so it would match the era I'm modeling. Here's the 'before' picture:

...and the "after" picture:

Another view from behind:

. . .
Well guys I have to go now, Stephanie wants me to tuck her in - good nite!
