Chloe, I already had breakfast so I'll give PC's credit card a rest... Good morning shop dwellers, and [#welcome] Gumby! First of all, thanx for all the positive feedback on the propane truck conversion, I hope some of you will actually find it useful. John, I used Plastruct Plastic Weld to cement the chassis back together: First, I glued the two long pieces of strip styrene to the longest frame sections and let those 'set'; then, I glued-on the rear axel section (to both the chassis and the white strips); then I glued the flat rectangular white piece onto the ends of the two long whites strips and let that harden; and finally (with the chassis upside-down) I glued the last frame piece to both the chassis and the rectangular piece. I wish I wouldv'e taken the time to photograph these steps but I was in too much of a hurry... Ryan and Fergie, I didn't get much sleep last night either - woke up at 2:30am and couldn't relax. I was dreading the meeting at work that I would have to sit through for two hours...[xx(] JP, I bet RT will be able to answer your Lionel question if anyone can... Attaboy - Nice pix, those "research" cars ought to make some nifty models! . . . Back soon!
