Most unusual for this time of the year, normally we are to expect the first sn*w around this time.

Jeff - DST was introduced in Europe in 1977, but not before 1996 all of Europe changed clocks on the same date. Since then it is always the last weekend of March when we change to DST, and the last weekend in October, when we change back to CET. The older I get, the more it becomes a nuisance to me. The intended energy saving has actually never been proven... [:-^]

Ken - for years, I had a 12 hrs. + work day. Add to that 3 hrs. commuting time, so 15 hrs. away from home was my regular fare. 1 hour each day for eating, talking to the family, 15 minutes just for myself, and 45 minutes to keep up a minimum standard of hygiene (including shaving) - that was my day. Oh, yes, the rest was used for trying to catch some sleep. Life happened only on weekends, but not always.

Have a good day!
