Good Evening! Well, the snow was a bit of a surprise this morning. We will be heading back to the "low" country tomorrow, so snow should not be an issue any more. Tomorrow, we will leave Germany and enter into Switzerland. We will go to Basel, just right across the border and, I bet you have guessed it, tour the city by streetcar. Not a regular one, again a very special one: <img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6182/6041764919_6f8afecb1f.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.basel-gewerbe.ch/media/basel.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> <img src="http://www.auswandern-abc.de/img-schweiz/basel-schweiz-xxl.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> Our tour will take us to Waldenburg later in the day, where we will hopefully be able to take a ride on Switzerland´s one and only 750 mm narrow gauge line. <img src="http://img.fotocommunity.com/photos/13303460.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> With a little bit of luck I´ll be able to book the steam train for us! We will stay overnight at the "Three Kings Hotel", located on the banks of the Rhine river. <img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/-cCRRKtxOjfA/RwEZzr7C2JI/AAAAAAAACZk/IFSnbugyOdw/Basel38.JPG" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> The day´s highlight will be our dinner on board a streetcar, where we will be served a variety of Swiss dishes. <img src="http://www.tramoldtimer-basel.ch/images/Wagen450_702cp.jpg" style="max-width: 550px;" border="0" /> Enjoy!
