Good Afternoon,

The STALAG has not been at all bad today - the smoke is clearing up a little, showing a good chance of a job at the end of it. I hope this one materializes and takes me into retirement in ten year´s time...

Galaxy - great to hear that you and your family got through the disaster unhurt. We was worried, mate! Shocking report you gave us - my prayers to those who had to suffer a loss of whatever kind!

Ken - my "long" resume has 7 pages, my short one just two. There is no set rule for a resume, but the higher the requirements for a job are, the more proof of capabilities and competence you will have to give. I have to admit, that we do things completely differently here in Germany. A job application has to have a covering letter, explaining briefly why you apply for that specific job and the company offering the position, a resume and employer´s references. In my case, that´s a 40 page package (who´s going to read all this?). I think that Lee has put it to the point - your resume should be focused on the qualifications required for the job.

Got some "homework" to do - CUL!
