Me again!

Made a big step forward with the module this afternoon. I lightly weathered the bridge, added catenary poles. While waiting for the glue to set (seems to be my favorite pastime), I tried my hand at the waterfall, using a technique I have seen in a German forum. It is actually quite simple, all you have to do is to apply a few beads of white glue on wax paper, let it set for maybe 10 minutes, then apply some structure with a tooth pick & let it dry thoroughly. After about 3 hours, I was able to peel it of the wax paper and just placed it where the waterfall is supposed to be. While not perfect, it already looks nice. I have not yet fastened it, but I might - that saves me the cost of the water effects. Tomorrow, I will take a few pics and present it to you to capture your opinion on it.

I did take a few shots of the module before adding the "waterfall" - here they are:

I am quite happy with it now - glad, that I did the rew*rk!

Hopefully, Bill isn´t to miffed, being told off by the mods for posting those pics. Although he is certainly not the most talkative guy around, I have gotten used to his morning greetings.

Todd - good to hear that your MIL is out of ICU. Continuing [angel] for her recovery!

Ray - Japanese railroads usually display a "used, but not abused" state of repair. That excludes the decrepit look you see on some US roads.

Zoe, a mug of hot chocolate, please - it is a miserable and cold day here in the Arctic region!

TTFN
