Good Afternoon,

now that the smoke has cleared, the place looks pretty much the same to me as before.

Zoe, coffee and a slice of my favorite cherry crumble pie, please!

I had a little conversation with our friend Bill. Here is what I wrote to him:

"It is the first time since I joined the Diner crew that there was dissent, voiced in an undue way (by our new visitor). Galaxy might have been a little over the top with his comment towards Ken, but hey, so what? Both are dear to me and have my deep respect. I don´t want to miss either one of them."

I do hope the issue is settled for now.

Inch - glad you are back! Congratulations on granddaughter # 2 - she is a sweet one. I guess I am the right age for turning into a grandfather - I will have to have a word with my son´bout that.

Started to prepare my module for the corrective w*rk by plucking all the clump foliage from the parts I will have to correct. Luckily, I was able to salvage nearly all of it, so all that is lost is a few hours of work, some paint and white glue. I am convinced that the module will look much nicer after the correction. Petra wants me to do the waterfall - hmmh, got to think about that. If it makes her happy, it might be easier in the future to get her buy-in on extending the layout [(-D]

Barry- Prayers for your SIL from my side as well!

Temperatures are in the low 60´s here and there is now sign of improvement. It´s a wet summer so far and we will mot likely have to wait for fall to see better weather.

TTFN
