Good Evening Folks,

well, today has seen an emotional see-saw on the issue of moving into assisted living. My Mom is feeling better and starts to think that she will be able to handle the household on her own, once she will be out of the hospital. The doc came to see my father today and made it quite clear, that both need a lot of help and assistance to master their lives. I am not argueing with my parents on that issue, either the do it or I won´t be able to help them.

My mother will have an ICD implanted tomorrow, which hopefully helps to control her arhytmia.

Flo, I´ll have a [B] to finish off the day. Please & thanks.

YGW - Krefeld is close to the Dutch border, but I hav doubts that your forefathers come from that area. I am fond of hot & spicy food since I visited India and Korea. Petra has grown some really hot peppers I might use instead pf the Jalapeno peppers. I´ll report on the results [8D]

Garry - "UK baseball cap"? That´s not Queen Lizzy´s place, but University of Kentucky, I presume?

Corey - welcome back, I hope you are staying on ...

J.R. - From what I have learned, there must have been a time when the German share of the American population was actually quite large. Quite a lot of their decendants are now model railroading enthusiasts. Names like Kalmbach, Hediger, Koester give a clue to that.

Well, that´s all from me for today - CU tomorrow and have a good one!
