Super detailing diesel locomotives.

Note thread title change

all scales, all diesel models, all details

recently acquired an N scale GP15-1 and I was hoping to super detail it. I checked BLMA's site I'm not sure which plow I want to use up on the front, also the MU hoses are molded onto the pilot but I want them to stand out and fit through the pow gaps.

this is the model and below is the prototype.

I think Sunrise made the gyralight that goes in the nose. IDK about the beacon, antenna, horn, and some of the other stuff.

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

In some of the other pics of the prototype it's gyralight's been removed. I'm not sure I'd want to cut up this beaut yet. the horn matches, the beacon same case as the gyra. the antenna I'd have to look hard for, the  horn seems to match.

The Diesel Detailer web site is a good place for info (see the link below in my sig). There are quite a number of N scalers there.

The Rapdio diesel locomotives came with the extra detail already installed.
