Hi Six; You didn't mention scale. I'll assume it's H.O. Bachman did make one in H.O. I have one but haven't run it yet. I expect that it will run as well as there 44 tonner. I have two of them. They both run very well. I hope that this helps

I have 4 of them I got when they first came out. They are sweet runners the only downside.. there is a tendency of some of the power trucks to burn up.. its occasional.. at this point it has happened in 1, and in 2 of my 44 tonners. go figure. but even with 1 power truck and the other stripped of gears. they are fun. can't pull as much.. but still cool. jeff

You can find the Bachmanns on eBay and swap meets--keep the motors lubed to prevent engine burnout, they are otherwise fine little engines.
And hey, 70 and 44 tonners weren't known for their monstrous pulling capacities...all the more reason to MU a few!

THAMKS TO ALL FOR THE INFORMATION ON THE 70 Tonners! Appreciate your responses. I'll be off to the soonest swap meet in the N.E. Area to find one
Thanks again
saintsix.
