Elliot...

This is not an overnight trip, but I thought you might be interested since you gave me the idea to combine Trains with Twins...

We and another couple we are friends with plan to take the Empire Builder to Chicago next summer (sleeper accommodations for each couple of course) to take in a couple of Twins/Whitesox games. It should be really cool -- they weren't railfans at all until we told them about our last train trip, and now they are really excited to give it a try.

Of course the frosting on the cake is that we are all HUGE Twins fans, so between the train and the baseball games, we should be on cloud nine.

Kentucky Cardinal-Several weeks before the end. Took the kids, they had a ball. Made 4 trips on the K-Card, all after sleeper had been dropped. Didn't matter anyway-I never slept.

Two years ago when I visited Europe. I went from Copenhagen to Rome. Europe has a fantastic railroad system. I wish we had that kind of system in this country.
