On line HO scale shops?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, August 30, 2004 3:59 PM
Y'all,

I am looking into changing scales. I have been in N scale most of my life, but I am now interested in HO for many different reasons. One of the things I have enjoyed about N scale is the excellent, and often updated sites on-line. 3 of the shops I check almost daily are:

http://www.4nscale.com/
http://www.nscalesupply.com/NScaleSupply.html
http://blwnscale.com/

Each has a daily update page in one form or another, and each are very easy to browse through. I have never found any similar web sites for HO scale trains. All of the HO sites I have seen require previous knowledge of any new products, as they are listeed only inside of the category or name brand that they belong to.

Is there a good, and easy on-line source for HO scale supplies?

Thanks,
Mopac Fan

Thanks guys, this will give me a chance to window shop on line before I take the 40 mile trek to the hobby store.

And thanks for the "welcome" sign, it's nice to be noticed.

My current favorite is http://www.internettrains.com. Usually the cheapest, and a pretty good selection of everything. Only downside is that they're not the fastest shippers around, but they're worth it if you're not in a hurry for something.
