The only way I know to accompli***his is to use Digital Command Control(DCC). Each train has its own identity for the system and will allow you to set the speed of multiple trains on the same track. DCC is expensive compared to cab control. DCC will cost you about $150-$200 for the system. Cab control power packs are about $50, but they are analog, or non digital. Using cab control you would need two different tracks, one train on each, to get them to go different speeds. <br />Hope this helps. <br />Terry
