Good Afternoon,

it´s been a dull day, as Barry would say. Although there has been a scent of spring in the air, I spent the better part of it in front of the idiot box, watching the coverage on the Japan earthquake and the explosion in the Fukushima nuclear power station. Still not in the mood for MRRing - I must be seriously ill.

Janie, coffee in my JNR mug and a slice of that cherry crumble pie, please.

I see a few new faces here in the Diner - a belated [#welcome] from this end of the Big Pond!

Called my parents a couple of times, just to find out how they are doing. My Mom is sleeping most of the time, which is good. My Dad is happy to have her with him, but changed his mind on moving into an assisted living facilitiy. I was afraid of this happening, but there is nothing I can do about it. Adds to my worries!

Ken - I hope things work out for you with the Bank of (fill in according to your likes). I am still not over losing my house - I steel feel pretty miserable about it.

Ray - how on earth can you handle such tiny parts? My fingers are way too big and shaky to do such a job. [bow]

Barry - come to think of it, my parents had the passage booked to Canada, to London in Ontario to be precise. My father had a job offer there in 1956. My parents decided not to go when I showed up...

Well, time to move on - have a good one!
