Has anyone had any problems with atlas factory installed decoders moving by themselves (1"-2" every few minutes) on a Digitrax system?

Sounds like the unit is still has a speed setting and was not zeroed out on speed when it was released.

Re select the engine and zero out the speed.

You may also need to do a decoder reset as it may have a glitch programmed into it. Check your manual for the decoder for reset info.

I can't say that I have had that problem with any of the 142 Atlas dual mode decoders that I have. I only ha d a problem with one of them where one of the chips burned a hole in itself. Atlas replaced it no questions asked. I would give Atlas a call. Their technicians will talk to you on the phone and if there is a problem, they'll replace it.

If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
