Good Morning Folks, I am up since 4 am - that bug I have caught keeps me from sleeping! Janie - coffee in an IV bag, please. Seems as if we can get that round-robin group of "Japanese" model railroaders in Germany off the ground. It´d be nice to have someone to share my rather exotic interest with. There is a little forum, but with about a dozen active members, it is of the most active one. The guys in there are not really a talkative bunch, unlike here [(-D] I have finalized my plans for my modular desktop-layout, now I have to find a sponsor for the Kato Unitrack. There are only three sources for it in Germany and their prices are just crazy 40 bucks for a switch, which sell for $ 27.50 in the US! If I add shipping and customs duty to it, I end up at $ 40 again, so buying in the US is no option [:(] Need to go to see the social security people today to renew our "application of funding". It is one of those "draw a number and wait until it is called" things, which means I probably have to wait for years. I´ll try to be there when they open, just to be the first "customer" of the day! Have a good one! PS - has anyone seen Jerry, Jim, Keith, Tom and all other MIA´s?
