Paul,
I don't see me laying any track where I live. I live in an RV at a commercial dock. There is a thousand foot long pier that I've really been eyeing. lol
I joined NEFlorida Live Steamers about a week ago. They have their tracks about 10 miles south of me. 2600' of 7 1/2" and 1600' 2' guage. Supposed to adding another 2000 of 7 1/2" and 2000' of 2' in the near future. Takes me about 10 minutes to get there. (I drive a little bit fast sometimes). It's open to members at any time.
Spent the morning turning new bushings for the riding car trucks. The old ones were pretty badly egged and were causing frequent derails. I couldn't back up without a derail.
I guess I'm going to have to check this forum more often. It took me longer to catch up than it takes to get to the tracks. lol
